Donating personal papers

Over the years the Mass Observation Archive has collected donations of life story documents produced by people in accordance with the traditions of Mass Observation.

We are currently reviewing our acquisitions policy. As a result we are not accepting any personal papers collections to the Mass Observation Archive. We hope to have completed the review by May 2010.

If you are interested in donating material to the Mass Observation Archive please read the two documents below - our guidance notes and our collection policy - and check this page after May 2010 to see if we are accepting donations again. If you have any question, please get in touch.
