Mass Observation - Recording everyday life in Britain

The Archive depends on money from outside the University for many of its special activities. It gains income from royalties from publications, and since 1991 the Friends of the Archive scheme has provided essential financial support for the Archive's activities.

Without the support of the Friends scheme, the Archive would struggle to collect new material from ‘ordinary’ people documenting everyday life in Britain. You can donate online quickly and simply here.

Fundraising Campaign 2014-2014

This year we are asking you to contribute to a campaign for the purchase of exhibition equipment. With increasing activities, events and conferences that we both deliver and attend, there are great opportunities to showcase our valuable work but we lack the necessary equipment. Exhibitions could increase visitors, users and donors to the Archive and the vital funds you contribute will cover the cost of exhibition equipment and production.
