From 1st October until the 30th October material from the Mass Observation Archive will be on show at an exhibition at the Brighton Photo Biennial.
Archive staff have been working closely with a group of LGBTQ identified young people on a project called “Into the Outside”. This project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Young Roots Programme. As part of this project, the young people have been visiting the Archive to view our National Lesbian and Gay Survey. They have also been documenting their daily lives to create a new archive; one which represents what life is like for LGBTQ people in Britain in 2016.
The exhibition is in at the Grand Parade building in Brighton and is free to attend. You can read more here.
